Older and--in some ways--wiser, you showed me things in life I never would have seen without you.
Sharing was always important to us.
We passed information and feelings from one generation to another,
trying to understand each other's lives.
The more time we spent sharing, the closer our lives were drawn, until we couldn't bear to be apart.
Like all good things must, we soon came to our end.
You walked away free, feeling no pain at all, but you took my heart with you.
Without it, how can I love again?
How can I go on living?
How can I go on living?
