Love/Lust

She said "I love you," and meant forever.
He said "I love you," and meant for now.

She dreamed of making a life with him
He dreamed of making love with her

She gave her heart to him
He gave his body to her

She can't forget him
He doesn't remember she existed.

If you only knew

How much you're still part of my life

How thoughts of you take up my days

How dreams of you fill my nights

If you only knew

How I trusted in your promises

How I believed in your dreams

How I meant every word I said

If you only knew

How much I still miss you

How much I still need you

How much I still love you

If you only knew

Would it matter to you at all?
