Like a bolt from the blue,
Unexpected and intense,
An added level of emotion
Drawing them closer and closer.
Words flowed like a fountain,
Flooding their minds
With truth and desire.

The Dance
Tentatively they dance,
Drawing close, backing away.
Neither wants to be the first
To put words to the feelings,
Afraid of rejection;
Always looking for encouragement
In the other's words and actions.
