One Day

At that fateful moment

When we gaze into each other's eyes,

Time will stop; the world will not turn,

The past will not have been.

We will live only in that moment.

Each second will be special,

Each hour a dream come true,
Each day a new beginning.

At that moment

The distance will be closed

And forever will be ours:

But for now we can only whisper
