Brought forth as caretakers
Of the Earth and all it contains,
What have we really done?
Can we look around us and say
The world is better for our existence
Or have we aided in the destruction
Of what God so lovingly created?
We say, so many times,
Attempting to justify our actions,
These things belong to us,
Yet we know it's not the truth.
Everything on Earth, ourselves included,
Belongs to the Creator.
