Drifting in and out of each other's lives, never staying long enough to matter because we're so afraid of commitment.
We don't want to feel bound by rash promises made in the heat of passion,
so we break each other's hearts with hasty exits just when it feels right.
This time, let's not be so quick to say goodbye.
