Emotions roll like thunder through my brain:
Am I angry, disappointed, hurt, sad, or all of the above?
Do I want to confront him with what I know,
Or wait to see how long it takes for him to come to me?
How much longer will this game go on?
Will he be watching my every move, weighing my every word,
Waiting to catch me slipping up in the smallest way?
Now that I know where I stand, I’m through….
I’ll be who I am, and he can take me or leave me.
The ball is in his court now.
