Limerick

#3- Write a limerick.

There once was a man named Osama
Who rode on a camel, not llama
He lived there in the sand
Somewhere in Pakistan
And laughed every day at Obama.

  1. Love it. I'm not great with small pieces. I'm just too wordy.

Thanks for checking out my writer's workshop this week. As it turns out, it didn't rain on William and Kate. Too bad. Those umbrellas would have been cute. :-)

  2. But one day the seals
    Were right at his heels
    And then there unfolded
    some Drama ; )

Good work! I'm afraid I'm a compulsive rhymer.

  6. Hi Teresa and many thanks for following Kangaroos of the Scrubby Bush - it's much appreciated and I'm following you back here as I enjoy poetry and the writing group I admin has done some Haiku. The limerrick that came to me was an old one

There once was a lady named Perkins
Who was very found of small gerkins
One day out at tea, she ate 43
    and pickled her internal workings!

    Great to meet you.
